CElina Moxam
My name is Celina Moxam, after dancing my entire life and teaching for the past 11 years I decided to take on the mission of opening my own dance studio! Primarily dancing hip hop makes our studio stand out from the rest. It’s what we love to do and we know how to do it well! Although we love hip hop we appreciate and train all styles for the foundation of dance. I know how important it is to train your craft in a space where you feel wanted and deserving of taking up that space and that all stems from the owner and teachers you have. So when I opened APEX Dance Complex I made it my mission to create not just another dance studio but a place where people can call it their “HOME AWAY FROM HOME”

Connor Nachand
Hey! I’m Connor Nachand, based in San Francisco. I’m currently a business student at Cal Poly SLO, where I’m building leadership and teamwork skills I bring into everything I do. I work backstage and as an MC, helping competitions run smoothly from start to finish. Whether I’m managing logistics behind the scenes or keeping the crowd engaged on the mic, I love making sure show day is seamless for dancers, teachers, and families. One of my favorite parts of the weekend is teaching line dances at awards, getting all the kids up on their feet and learning a new dance together. Looking forward to hopefully meeting you at the next stop!

Jessalyn Secola-Velazquez
I’m excited to kick off my 5th season with Fly! Every year brings the opportunity to visit new cities, experience fresh choreography, and witness the incredible talent that takes the stage. Serving as a backstage manager is truly special — I love the fast-paced energy, the teamwork behind the scenes, and the unforgettable moments shared with our talented (and often hilarious!) dancers.
Outside of Fly, I work in a medical office and stay busy with my two kids, who keep life fun and full. When I’m off the event floor, you’ll likely find me watching football — and one day, I’m determined to check skydiving off my bucket list!
