A few notes to consider for how it works.

 

Video Types

We have 2 different types of videos 

(Stage Videos) which can be from another competition or any stage performance

(Studio Videos) which can be recorded from any camera or phone at your studio or another big space

 

Deadlines

Once you have registered for the competitions please pay your fees by the deadline to be considered. Just go to fly.dancecompgenie.com

 

Uploading Videos

You can upload the videos right to your Dance Comp Genie account where it says upload videos.

 

Routines

All routines are will be scored and critiqued by 3 expert judges.

 

First Time Flyer (1-5 hours of dance a week)

Business Class (6-10 hours of dance a week)

First Class (11+ hours of dance a week)

We do also accept independents!

 

Awards

We will be announcing general adjudications and overalls.  The price of the virtual includes pins and medals being sent to your studio based on placements in 1-2 Weeks. International Shipping is not included! Pins will be given to every dancer and medals will be given out to the top 50% in each category. Stage Videos and Studio Recordings do not compete against one another. Banners are not included but can be mailed for an additional fee.

 

Our livestream ceremonies will be on www.FlyDanceCompetition.com and FB Live and can also be rewatched!

June 1 Deadline Awards will be on WEDNESDAY June 16 at 7pm EST

All routines will be available for viewing on Friday June 11th

July 1 Deadline Awards will be on WEDNESDAY July 14th at 7pm EST

All routines will be available for viewing on Friday July 9th

starting at 3pm EST on www.FlyDanceCompetition.com.

Aug 1 Deadline Awards will be on WEDNESDAY Aug 11th at 7pm EST

All routines will be available for viewing on Friday Aug 6th

starting at 3pm EST on www.FlyDanceCompetition.com.

Sept 1 Deadline Awards will be on WEDNESDAY Sept 8th at 7pm EST

All routines will be available for viewing on Sat Sept 4th

starting at 3pm EST on www.FlyDanceCompetition.com.

Oct 1 Deadline Awards will be on WEDNESDAY Oct 13th at 7pm EST

All routines will be available for viewing on Friday Oct 8th
